Based on the Definitive Screening Design (DSD), you can create a screening protocol for the early stages of your research.
In the early stages when there is not enough data to perform regression and other analyses, data obtained by this design method can create a good predictive model with a small number of experiments, thus shortening the study period.
Create the "experimental condition table" shown below and load it into Gofard to output a screening design table with a single click.
Please create the "Experimental Condition Table" according to the following.
- The first column should be this notation of "blank,1,2,3" and the second column "level,-1,0,1".
- Enter specific values for each experimental condition (raw material ratio, temperature, etc.) from the second column onward, using the three levels of "-1 = low, 0 = medium, 1 = high".
- For 2-choice experimental conditions (e.g. ON/OFF), enter 0 in the -1 line and 1 in the 1 line.
It is recommended that you enter the lowest or highest possible value for the low and high levels to get the most comprehensive screening plan.
